Ideas for Games to Play Online
Give Your Child Some Supervised Fun with Games to Play on the Internet
We all know that kids get bored easily. If you have a few of your own, you're probably used to hearing the phrase, "There's nothing to do!" Obviously this is far from reality.
At least in the world I know, there are always plenty of things one could be doing. I heard this speech time and time again from my father. Finally I caught on to the fact that I would end up doing additional chores if I whined about being bored. No thanks!
I think that sums it up for every child on this planet. No kid is looking for more work to do. I'd think with technology such as games to play online, Internet surfing, and an endless array of cool toys, no child would ever be bored in this era.
Any random stranger could pop up and attempt to lure your child into his deviant clutches. This is the last thing you want to deal with. In short, children need to be monitored if using the web. Fortunately there are sites specifically designed for young minors.
I'm talking about free websites that offer games to play online.
Just to give you the basic rundown, here's a few my daughter can't get enough of; playhousedisney.com, noggin.com, nickjr.com, and kids-online.net. These free websites all offer fun games to play online, as well as a variety of activities. You can even watch your favorite kid's shows and print out coloring pages.
Many will argue the perils of the Internet. However, I think it makes more sense to focus on the pros. And as any fool can see, there are a lot of pros. It's not just about kid's games to play online.
But also about convenience, learning and exploring other worlds. There is so much we can see and better understand by hopping on the web and taking a surf. If you're concerned with foul websites or nasty popups, this can easily be remedied.
Simply turn on your popup blocker located on the menu bar of your browser. Furthermore, take advantage of parental controls. For example, my Mac allows me to bookmark the websites my daughter uses. This way she can only navigate to these sites. Any others will be denied. Let your kids have some safe fun on the web.
